Class 101 DMU set L837 departs from Redhill, date unknown. Closest is presumably 53751, it moved from Neville Hill to Reading in January 1988 and was in NSE livery by June 1989 so this could be circa 1988, and obviously winter. Metro-Cammell Class 101 Driving Motor Brake Second M51175 was stood at Colwyn Bay whilst leading a Manchester Victoria to Llandudno service on May 28th 1979. M51175 would eventually see out its days as part of Regional Railways liveried set 101658 and it was finally withdrawn from service in 2002. Martyn Hilbert.
