A view of Gainsborough's Lea Road station in 1987, with Class 101 DMU set 67 (presumably 51187 + 54432) forming a service to Doncaster. There was plenty of interesting infrastructure back then, including semaphore signals, a goods yard, and in the distance, the oil depot. Andrew Walker.

Withdrawn Class 08 08747 was stood with Class 101 Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) M51188 in the yard at Doncaster Works on July 12th 1992. The Class 101 DMBS went on to become part of Strathclyde liveried set 101694 that would eventually be transferred to Longsight Depot in Manchester, and was withdrawn in 2001. 51188 has survived into preservation at the North Norfolk Railway.
