Wintry Habrough. A Met Camm twin set halts at Habrough on a Barton-upon-Humber to Cleethorpes working in the winter of late 1987. We see here E51436 which was reallocated from Cambridge to Neville Hill at the beginning of the year and is still displaying its Cambridge set number 14. It is paired with E53750 which was similarly wearing set number 93 from its days at Norwich, which ended a couple of years before this photo. Murray Liston.
Naval Gazing. A six car Metro Cammell dmu provided the shuttle service from Edinburgh to Rosyth Dockyard for the annual “Naval Day” on 13th May 1979, seen here in the dockyard. Murray Liston.
From Yorkshire to Westbury. A surprise visitor to Westbury in November 1987 was class 108 set B960 on a Weymouth to Bristol working. Formed of 53602 + 54197, these had been Yorkshire vehicles from new, but reallocated to Bristol just a few months earlier. Murray Liston.
A Dragon at Westbury. This BRCW class 118 DMU set had been a Devon / Cornwall unit from new, but was reallocated to Cardiff in 1986 where it gained the Red Dragon branding. It was moved to Bristol a month before this photo was taken, the set number changing to B480 when it was seen at Westbury on a Bristol to Weymouth service in November 1987. W51327 + W59470 + W51312.
