A Class 104 set in Birmingham New Street beside a Derby Lightweight on December 16, 1957. M50458, at the front, was just a few weeks old and allocated to 5D (Stoke). Michael Mensing.

This is thought to be taken at Cleobury Mortimer which seemed to be a regular destination for BRC&W test runs. BRCW.
