Two of a kind meet at Middlesbrough. On the left with its red tail lights on is a class 101 DMU set departing Middlesbrough east bound with the 14.15 Darlington to Saltburn while stabled in the adjacent carriage sidings is a sister 2-car seat based at the time at Heaton Depot waiting to take up its next duty. A mundane scene in its day but of note is the fact the DMU in the sidings is displaying an Alston destination on the roller blind.
