Sc51491 (and presumably Sc56480) at Eastfield depot on the 23rd May 1959. The pair were listed as new to Kittybrewster (61A) on the 14th of that month, then transferred soon afterwards to Hamilton (66C). Stuart Mackay Collection.

Date: 30th October 1980

The 10.26 Doncaster - Cambridge dmu service, one of three southbound passenger services still serving the joint line in 1980. The setting is Murrow West. This was at one time the site of a flat crossing with the M&GN Peterborough - Wisbech - Sutton Bridge line on which, until its closure in 1959, the hamlet of Murrow had the extravagant facilities of a further station named Murrow East. On 30th October 1980 motoring past are Lincoln based Class 114 Derby 'heavyweight' set E50046 + E56026 leading Norwich allocated Cravens Class 105 unit E56480 + E51261 (set 65). Gerard Fletcher.
