18/12/81 - Passengers on the 23:13 Henley - Twyford had a lucky escape when L423 failed to stop when arriving at Twyford, 51361 demolished the bufferstops at the end of the bay platform and landed partly in the station approach on top of a parked car. OOC breakdown equipment attended and rerailed the unit the next day.
