The 'Dalesrailwayman' headboard being attached to E50287 at Skipton on June 6th, 1982. This was a special from Skipton to the end of BR track on the former Grassington Branch. Scheduled for three returns, the last trip was cancelled when a deluge caused a landslide. John Carter.
