Two two-car Met-Camm sets above Boddin Point, on the approach to Montrose, working the 4.15pm Perth - Montrose service on July 15, 1964. DMBS Sc51249 leads, at was based at Dundee and carries set number 62 in one of the cab windows. Michael Mensing.

The 'Buchan Belle' railtour stops at platform 8 of Aberdeen station on the return journey from Fraserburgh to Perth. It carries a set number (62) in the cab window, and was formed 51457 + 56392. John McIntyre.

Class 105 DMU at Norwich depot

4th August 1975

A summer's day at Norwich. Class 03 shunter No. 03029 and a first generation Class 105 DMU (set 62, believed to be E56116) keep each other company at Norwich depot on Monday 4th August 1975. Photo taken on day two of the "Secret Five" mystery tours: five day trips on five consecutive days to mystery destinations from Weston-super-Mare and other picking-up points in the Bristol area. Class 105 DMU at Norwich

21st April 1979

The Wymondham & Dereham Rail Action Committee (WyDRAC), the Railway Development Society (RDS) and the newly-formed Fakenham and Dereham Railway Society chartered two 2-car Class 105 DMU sets to operate the 'Fakenham Flyer' on 21/Apr/1979. It ran to Dereham before heading to Fakenham and then operating a shuttle service to Ryburgh, County School, North Elmham and back to Dereham and Fakenham. Seen at Norwich. The lead car was 56116 and the rest of the formation included 51277 and 56125 but one of the DMBSs went unrecorded. Robert Chilton.
