Wickham DMU set 56172 + 50417 stabled at Cambridge on 7 November 1967. It and the Derby Lightweight it is facing have the rubber protection panels behind the cab doors. Note also both Wickham vehicles have a white sign in the centre side window. Stuart Mackay Collection.

The Midland Pullman has just arrived at London St Pancras with the 0745 from Manchester Central, the booked arrival time was 1100 and as the clock is showing 1054 it has obviously arrived early. Two Class 108 Two-Car sets crossing from the Down Fast to the Down Slow at Killingbeck (Leeds) so it can stop at Cross Gates station which only had platforms on the slow lines while working a Leeds to York train, not the best photo I've taken but it shows the layout and signals at Killingbeck box. 20 July 1961. A five-Car DMU formation passing Engine Shed Junction, Leeds, in 1960 with a three-car Rolls-Royce powered Met-Camm on the rear. I think the trains destination is Barnsley, as B8 was the code for Class 2 train between Leeds and Barnsley via Wakefield. Keith Long.

Seen from the signalbox at Leeds Marsh Lane on 25 May 1961 BR Standard Class 4MT 2-6-4T No 80117 passing with an ECS train from Leeds City station to Neville Hill Carrage Sidings, the stock is from a Newcastle to Leeds train. Waiting on the Up Goods line is a two-car Metropollitan-Cammell set waiting for a path into Leeds. Keith Long.
