Class 108 DMU S959 (presumably 53947 + 53633) stops at Knighton Station just before 12 noon on the 1st February 1990 working the 10.43 Shrewsbury to Swansea (14.40). The journey over the Central Wales Line took almost 4 hours!! At the time only 1 platform and 1 line was in place, though in later years the second line would be reinstated. Dave Gommersall.
