The Eastern Region (and LMR) Day Tourer was less DMU orientated than the North Eastern's Day-Line ticket, but I came across this folder with DMUs on the cover, thought to be from the late 1950s.
This is the front when folded, featuring Derby Heavyweight and Cravens DMUs. It measured 5 ½ x 6 ½:
The bottom section with the Cravens folds down to reveal a welcome message. Note the inclusion of the London Midland Region totem:
It them opened up from the centre (the two halves opening outwards) to reveal the inside, with a map of the area it could be used:

The ticket itself continued to be available into the British Rail era. This sample ticket is from 1960:
