Stirling - Dollar - Kinross

Stirling - Dollar - Kinross route diagram

Railbuses would be introduced to the Devon Valley line on 4 May 1959, operating a Stirling - Dollar service. There were also DMUs on the line working through to Kinross.

The Devon Valley line between Alloa and Kinross Junction closed on 15 June 1964.

A Met-Camm twin DMU at Kinross Junction on 13 April 1963. It is coming off the line from Alloa, and Perth is on the destination blind, and the timetable shows there was a 3.20pm Alloa - Perth diesel service. The DMBS was recorded as SC51252, it is presumably paired with original partner SC56410. Stuart Mackay Collection.
