Class 121 single car W55033, set B133, at Marsh Junction depot, St Philips Marsh. It seems to have a brown buffer beam, behind is a GRC&W buffet car, another GRC&W car is on the left. The slide process date was June 1975. Maintenance had ended at the depot in May 1970, but the location was still used for stabling and fuelling. Stuart Mackay Collection.

W55033 ran through the stop blocks at Severn Beach Station and hit the side of the station building in early June 1980. Here it is seen some time afterwards on Bristol Bath Road depot. Repairs at Swindon Works would see it receive the cab roof dome of a 116 or 122 and in emerge in blue/grey livery in October that year. Stuart Mackay Collection.
