A Class 115 in blue and grey with NSE flash on the cab front was nearing the end of its London Marylebone to Banbury journey when photographed at Kings Sutton on 14 June 1988. The tower and spire of St.Peter and St.Paul's church in the village is one of the most recognisable features of this scene and has featured in thousands of railway photographs over the years.
