Derby suburban triple DMU set 502 departs from Grimes Hill and Wythall station as another is about to arrive, circa 1970. In 1974 the station became simply Wythall. John Horne Collection.

13th December 1980

Wythall station on 13 December 1980 looks very plain without the rampant tree growth we have today. A lady has booked her ticket from the freshly re-painted (now closed) ticket office and is ambling down to a mixed livery Class 101, it is working the 12.19 Stratford-upon-Avon to Birmingham Moor Street train.
