Vehicle: 50382
Halesworth on 17 April 1974 with what is likely the 12:48 Ipswich - Lowestoft service. At the front is a 105 DMBS/101 DTCL hybrid, closest is Class 105 DMBS E50382 - note how the top cream lining from the green livery has not been sanded flat and is the blue paint has flaked off it in several places. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 79252
Derby lightweight DMU E79252 at Halesworth on the East Suffolk Line. A good view of the end of the adjacent power car. Note that the rectangular exhaust pipe does not meet the pipe on the other side above the gangway as many did. Phil Bevan.
Vehicle: 51217 Set: 75
Two-car Norwich Class 101 DMU set 75 at the South end of Halesworth station. Ipswich is on the destination blind and the set is likely changing platforms. The dent at the cantrail above the second passenger window identifies the DMBS at 51217 which dates it after May 1984 but before the line was singled and RETB went live in 1985. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 53151 Set: 97
A couple of staff members alongside Class 101 DMU set 97 in Halesworth station. The closest vehicle is thought to be 53151, so this would be taken sometime between June 1980 when the vehicle arrived at Norwich from Darlington, and May 1985 when it moved to Heaton. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Set: 75
A couple of staff members alongside Class 101 DMU set 75 in Halesworth station. Date unknown, probably in the early 1980s prior to RETB in 1985, Saxmundham is on the destination blind. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Set: 101

Class 101 DMU set 90 in Halesworth station, sometime in the 1980s. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 54050
Class 101 DTSL E54050 in Halesworth station, date unknown. It was a Norwich vehicle from September 1984 to April 1992, RETB was introduced to this line sometime in 1985, this vehicle was not RETB fitted. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 53266 Set: 94
Passing Class 101s at the south end of Halesworth station. Set 94 is on a Lowestoft service, 53266 seems to be leading which dates this to late 1985 or early 1986. With the headlight on at this end and no driver, set 101 is likely on a turnaround service from / to Ipswich and between duties. 53330 is likely the closest vehicle. Both sets have the centre of the RETB antenna lower than the destination box - within a few months these would be moved upwards, so the centre was at the side of the destination box, probably to improve reception? Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 53305 Set: 100
Norwich DMU set 100, E53305 seems to be closest, is seen departing from Halesworth sometime in the 1980s. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Set: 101
Class 101 DMUs set 101 is seen at Halesworth on a dull day sometime in the 1980s. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Vehicle: 53151 Set: 97
The glass over the destination blind on Class 101 DMU set 97 gets a bit of a clean in Halesworth station. The closest vehicle is thought to be 53151, so this would be taken sometime between June 1980 when the vehicle arrived at Norwich from Darlington, and May 1985 when it moved to Heaton. Stuart Mackay Collection.
