This was for many years the commonest sight around Hatton; a class 116 unit shuttling between Leamington Spa and Birmingham. On 4 June 1985 TS618 (53891 and presumably 59598 + 53073) was climbing Hatton Bank with a local service and about to pass over the boarded foot crossing in the days before the new footbridge was built. On this occasion I was there to photograph steam locomotive 5051 working an exhibition train northwards - I was alone for the DMU shot but not for the Castle!
