Class 118s weren't seen around Stratford-upon-Avon all that often so it was worth walking back to Henley-in-Arden for another shot when T317 (51314 + 59481 + 51329) returned about 40 minutes later on 2 May 1988. The signalbox was usually switched out Saturdays at this time which left a very long section between Shirley and Bearley Junction but this didn't matter much with a basic hourly service in each direction.
