Class 104 DMU at Junction Road Junction

×

Details

It's another hazy spring day in North London with a 'clear road ahead' for the 1115 Gospel Oak - Barking service as it approaches its first calling point at Upper Holloway, formed of BRC&W Class 104 power twin M53492 + M53477. 16th May 1985.

Up until mid 1981 passenger services over this route were formed of CW allocated Class 116 DMU's and originated at Kentish Town, accessing the line towards Junction Road Jn via a long closed section of track from 'Engine Shed Jn' just north of Kentish Town station.
