In 1979 a series of special trains was arranged over the Coalbrookdale branch to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the building of the Ironbridge. A temporary platform was set up at Coalbrookdale (just past mp161) and here is the 11.45 ex-Wolverhampton at that temporary platform on 15 July 1979; it will return to Wolverhampton as the 16.20 from Coalbrookdale. The train is formed of a Tyseley-based Class 116 dmu, set TS543, with coaches 50895/59350/508942.
