The driver of a Scarborough bound local service gives me a friendly wave as the unit leaves Hull Paragon. Always thought the MetCamms looked quite smart in the refurbished livery especially with the polished window surrounds and while they still provided first class accommodation. 3rd July 1981. The leading car appears to be E56066. Bruce Galloway.

A six-car formation of two Class 101s and a Class 105 is seen on the Alexandra Docks branch during the Humberside Loco Preservation Group "City of Hull" tour on 23 September 1978.
