Set L225 51222 + 54220 at Ely on 2H20 to Kings Lynn, March 15, 1991. Nicholas Youngman.
Set L225 (54220 + 51222) seen at Littleport. The unit was stabled on the Ely side of the gates in order to free the platform for the next up working from Lynn. These were special working arrangements during resignalling blockades at Ely. The driver would then have a cuppa in the Signal box while waiting the next duty back to Lynn often an hour and a half break. 26th October 1991. Nicholas Youngman.

A splash of colour on a murky day in August 1993 - Network South East Met Cam power trailer L225, with DTCL 54220 closest to the camera and DMBS 51222 at the rear, pause in Lowestoft with a service to Norwich. The set, along with partner L223, had recently moved from Cambridge depot to Crown Point but were withdrawn later in 1993. The passengers at the front were about to enjoy some relative luxury in the declassified first class compartment, with the added bonus of a view out of the front window. Chris Boon.
