This Gloucester based company was established in 1860 and built a diverse range of rolling stock for home and abroad, including some of the GWR railcars in the 1930s. They build 200 first generation DMU vehicles of four types for British Railways:
The ariel view shows the works in the 1950s. Bristol Road runs left to right about 1/3rd of the way from the foregound. What little remains of the works includes a section on Bristol Road to the centre of this image now JDR Karting. This website is an excellent look at that area with many historical maps and photos.

The Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Museum is an organisation that has a collection of archive material. The Gloucester Archives has a lot of the original Works records including photo albums (collection reference D4791). The NRM has three photograph index albums containing small contact prints of the works photos.
Here are two example promotional brochures, they measure approximately 10" x 8".
