Other Stock Books

These are some of the other less-mainstream stock books that have appeared over the years.

There were many early versions issued by enthusiast groups that are missing here - can anyone help copies or scans of these, or any of the other missing editions from this page?

When Railway World magazine published details about the release of the Worcester Locomotive Society Railcar Checklist in 1972 it included a claim that this was the first time a printed checklist had been produced with depot allocations for all DMU vehicles.[1] This started a chain of letters from readers with details of earlier publications: a list published by the Jubilee Railway Society in September 1970[2]; a Spring 1961 allocation/checklist published by the Monmouthshire Railway Society[3]; but the winner was the Northern Railfans Club who published a DMU checklist in February 1961[4].
