BR green liveried Swindon (introduced 1957) "Intercity" DMBS (Intermediate) SC79088 leading what is probably a Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street service pictured at Edinburgh - c.1970. Later versions of these units constructed to work services from Glasgow to Ayrshire were to be designated TOPS Class 126, but the earlier 79xxx units were never so classified as they were scheduled for early withdrawal. 53A Models of Hull Collection.
