A six-car Swindon Inter-City DMU in Cowlairs station. Undated, likely in 1964 - the station closed in September 1964. The station was used by stopping trains on their way in out of Glasgow Queen Street, such as the Kirkintilloch service. The 2 on the headcode suggests it is not on it's regular express Edinburgh - Glasgow duty, but likely an Edinburgh - Glasgow stopper - there was a 4.45pm ex-Waverley in the summer 1964 timetable was all stops, except Bishopbriggs, that called at Cowlairs. Roy Hamilton.
