Met-Camm "Lightweight" DMBS E79059 on Stratford depot. Dated as 16 July 1961 yet the yellow panel suggests later. Behind are two DMSs from Rolls-Royce powered Derby suburban triples, a Cravens DTCL is on the right. Stuart Mackay Collection.

M79626 and what seems to be M79082 at Derby on 14 May 1962. The two Met-Camm Lightweight vehicles are not multied together, they look ex-works and are likely in a train that will take them back to their home depot of Newton Heath. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A fine 'yellow diamond' E79xxx series Metro Cammell twin glides into the bay platforms at Cambridge on September 5th 1964 forming the 17.00 from Ipswich (due 18.43), while over on the left Ipswich based Brush Type 2 D5529 (later the ill fated 31111) stands alongside EE Type 3 D6719 which is just being detached from the stock of the 17.36 from Liverpool Street.
