Class 116 M53897 is the rear vehicle of a 6-car set departing from Skegness on the 2nd July 1988, presumably with 59335 + 59608 + 51898. Kevin Law.
Thought to be the only time a Class 128 has visited Skegness, sometime in the late 1980's. 55993 was attached to an excursion train - for some reason it remained attached to the formation throughout the trip! Peter (LEYTR).
T337 was a set with two DMBSs. Only the closest one has the roof vents removed, identifying it as 53838. The other two vehicles are presumably 59751 + 53853. Seen at Skegness on the 3rd August 1988. David Page.
