Swindon Class 126 DMU at Carlisle 24th July, 1977. Whilst everyone else on the railtour were jostling for position to photograph Deltic 55 003 running round' I opted for a quick snap of this wee feller waiting to depart for Glasgow via Dumfries. Arnie Furness.

A Swindon-built Class 126 Inter-City set, with SC51034 as the leading vehicle. Seen in the north bay at Carlisle on 23 February 1980, probably with a service to Glasgow Central via the G&SW route. Jeremy Chapter.
A Class 126 DMSL Sc51017 in one of the bay platforms at the north end of Carlisle station circa 1981/2, forming a service to Glasgow Central via Kilmarnock. The vehicle is now preserved on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. Andrew McConnell.
