A 4-car set approaching Ampthill tunnel on down main. Thought to be taken in 1960, at a time when 115s were also used on the St.Pancras - Bedford services. The underframe arrangement on the first vehicle seems to suggest this is a Class 115. Photo by Jim Lawrence.
