"Intercity 125" meets Intercity Class 126 DMU early on a spring morning in 1983 at Laurencekirk. The DMU had been hauled up from Thornton Yard in Fife attached to a Class 40 hauled freight. It would shortly leave BR metals, being craned onto flatbed trailers later in the day for the move to the Brechin railway.
