A Derby Heavyweight class 114 dmu stands on the freight only line, where the remains of Shirebrook station is, with one of the Shirebrook-Worksop Open Day shuttles on 5th June 1987. This line reopened to passengers as a through route again between Nottingham and Worksop in 1998 and is branded as the Robin Hood Line.
