A six-car BRC&W Calder Valley formation heads away from the south end of Bramhope Tunnel, north of Horsforth circa 1962/3. Liverpool Exchange is on the destination blind, the headcode hasn't been changed as it should show 1Mxx for an inter-regional set to the LMR, and the service is thought to have started at Harrogate.
