Met-Camms in Whitby Town station, circa late 1950s. The set on the left is one of the twelve twins which had the mounting plate for the top marker lamp, but no top lamp. Middlesbrough is on the destination blind, and it has the number on the right hand lamp bracket - possibly a diagram number? Delivered in April and May 1957 to Darlington, those twelve sets did not have whiskers when new and it this is a good example of the much straighter NER applied whiskers, contrasting with the factory applied whisker on the vehicle on the right.
