A frosty sunny morning at Stourbridge Junction was the scene for a picture of 55003 trundling away down the steep branch line to Stourbridge Town on 31/12/1986. Compared with the train service today the branch had many fewer workings when these units were in use. Past the freshly painted signal box on the right can be seen a class 116 unit and a class 31 diesel, the 31 would work various trips in the Kingswinford/Langley Green/Bescot triangle.
