Smoke and Ice. Laying a dense cloud of smoke in the freezing January air a 3 car 116 set with 51316 leading rattles towards Birmingham on 15/01/1991. The train was the 12.23 Redditch to Lichfield service, it has just passed the site of Somerset Road station between University and Five Ways. To the left the Worcester canal is frozen with thick ice and behind the train the University clock tower stands proud.
