A Class 101 arrives into Fort William station, where it would reverse, on 30 March 1974. The DMU ran from Oban to Mallaig, as part of a sleeper special tour from Leeds. It is unclear if this is on the outward, or return part of the trip. On the return the set failed near Tulloch.
