Part-built Swindon Inter-City trailer first W79470 in the SNCF testing shop at Vitry-sur-Siene (in the southeastern suburbs of Paris). It spent a week there (9th - 16th April 1957) undergoing strength and stress testing. Image one of five that accompanied the official report.
