On 14 May 1988 it was quite easy to walk around the slightly derelict-looking Washwood Heath area and take pictures of anything that came along. One of the bagful of slides I shot during the morning was this of a class 114 DMU as it worked ECS from Tyseley and about to pass Washwood Heath No5 signalbox.
