Class 100 DTCL E56317 is seen stabled in a siding at Carmarthen on 22 November 1975 awaiting movement to a new life in preservation on the Gwili Railway. The vehicle had spent just 16 years in service with BR, it would stay on the Gwili Railway for almost 20 years. This was followed by 20 years of storage at a variety of other sites before disposal in 2016.
