Details

A rather indistinct shot from a passing train of cl.114 nos.53044/54043 at Leamington on 5/7/90. Despite what the platform clock says, the time was ca. 15.50 and the unit may have formed an incoming service from either Hatton or Stratford-upon-Avon. This was during the period of four years or so at the end of the class's life when the remaining units were based at Tyseley (apart from a few which had gone into parcels service). They moved here in 1987 after a thirty-year stint based at Lincoln, their only home up to that point.
