Members of the BTC Eastern Area Board and officers of the Eastern Region on the platform at Prittlewell on the Shenfield - Southend (Victoria) line on 15 January 1958. Behind is a Wickham DMU formed DMBS E50416 and presumably DTCL 56171, the set took them to several locations during their inspection tour.
