The 3.34pm Haltwhistle - Alston service is operated by a Met-Camm DTC / GRC&W DMBS hybrid set (both with window bars on the passenger doors), seen one mile south of Slaggyford on 27 June 1968. Michael noted this was the first train of the day due to a Work to Rule on the system.
