After a spell in departmental use as a sandite / route learner vehicle, Pressed Steel bubble car 977722 was returned to passenger use for Chiltern Railways. The overhaul was done by LH Plant at Barton Under Needwood, as their job number GS79061. Taken on 5 February 2003.
