An official image (Swindon Works negative MT88) showing Inter-City trailer first Sc59393, dated April 8 1959. The corridor vehicle had forty-two seats in seven compartments, and a toilet at each end. It was listed as new to Ayr depot three days later on the 11th where it spent its whole career, other than a short spell on loan to Leith Central soon after delivery. Withdrawn in 1981, disposal would be at Snailwell.
