Almost at twilight on a dull Winter afternoon, the Carlisle allocated Class 108 two-car DMU in retro BR green livery, formed of cars M54247 & M53964, was stabled in Croft Street Sidings adjacent to the Preston Power Box on a bleak December 19th 1987.
