On the 5th March 1978 Refurbished Class 101 DMCL SC51516 is inside Eastfield TMD, Glasgow, having it's underfloor equipment cleaned by a fitter with a steam lance to remove the oil and grease that build up with constant use. She would last for another 20 years in service before withdrawl in September 1989 and scrapping at Snailwell, Suffolk during September 1990.
