New W&M railbus E79963 in Cambridge depot on 7 June 1958, with another and a Derby Lightweight behind. Walter Burt.
Waggon und Maschinenbau No. E79963 at Newcastle Central on 5 May 1965. The railbus had been sent north from Cambridge for trials on the Alston branch. It eventually returned to Cambridge, then entered preservation. Darren Kitson Collection.
German railbus E79963 on Cambridge depot, from where it had been withdrawn in November 1966. The slide process date was March 1967. The second vehicle is likeley E79960, both would start a new life in preserved at the North Norfolk Railway, and are picture in image 14547 at Wymondham with the same Special being displayed on the destination blind.
