Derby lightweight at Doncaster

circa 1968

Derby Lightweight vehicles at Doncaster, E79620 closest. Undated, possibly circa 1968 after withdrawal, disposal was at Armytage, Sheepbridge (Chesterfield). The DMBS behind is E7904x - the last digit being obscured by the ladder, but possibly E79045 which was also cut at Sheepbridge. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Derby lightweight at Doncaster

circa early 1968

Withdrawn Derby Lightweight vehicles on Doncaster shed circa early 1968. Closest is DTCL M79620, which still retains both vacuum pipes in white, and has some text painted on the lower cab corner (possibly GLW/67). It is next to a two-car set. When the vehicles arrived at this location, they did not have the COND text next to the scored out numbers - see image 33072. The destination blind has also been changed since that image.
